Rated 5 out of 5 by from LEGO plus Simpsons equals awesome! Wow. Last year, rumors would have it that some Simpsons LEGO Minifigures or even one or more Simpsons sets would be launched in 2014, but when I saw that the product was in fact going to be the Simpsons family house as well as all the family (and "neighborino" Flanders), I didn't really know what to think; surely this had to be too good to be true? But no, here it is, standing in all its awesomeness on my desk, and it's truly a blast! Fun to build (although a LONG build, took 9 hrs), fun to play around with, and play is indeed made easy seeing that all roof parts are removable as this also applies to the 2nd floor above the living room. One might well argue that the house isn't 100% accurate compared to the Simpsons house in the TV show, but I wouldn't worry too much about that, the LEGO version turned out just excellent. There are many cool details in the house (just love the "Property of Ned Flanders" stickers on the items Homer has "borrowed") and it just obvious that this set has been treated with the love and respect that it deserves. Sure, I do miss Santa's Little Helper, Grandpa Simpson and Lisa's "Saxomophone", but all in all, you get a great set here, and this is my absolute favorite LEGO set by far. Exceptional work, LEGO!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So much fun! The Simpsons House was my second Lego build. When I saw this at the store I wanted it and ended up going back to get it. I worked on it for 6 days just to prolong the experience :) It was so much much fun to build. LEGO's has been such a therapeutic experience for me. They just make me feel good from start to finish. It is so much fun to look at all of the details. It makes me want to add a yard to it (tree house etc as others have mentioned). I was a little surprised there wasn't a saxophone for Lisa although I was just has happy with the camera. No dog either. Happy with all of the figures and accessories except for the choice of material for Marge and Lisa's clothing. It's stiff and has gaps. Thin felt or a different type of material/design with 2 holes seems like it would have worked out better. I had read a few reviews that mentioned issues attaching the garage at the end so I attached it to the wall in the beginning. As soon as the pieces of the wall were built up where I could attach it, I did. It didn't hinder the remainder of the build in any way and I highly recommend doing so. I think it was the right decision for me because you could see where structural chaos could happen when trying to piece them together if you wait until the end. It takes some pressure to fit those 2 pieces together and if you aren't holding the wall in the right place, it has the potential to get ugly :) I love how creative Lego is in their creations and the way they use the pieces. The beds are so cute. The bathroom is awesome! Amazing to see how they transform into these amazing structures. The roof pieces are easily removed for viewing as well as the second floor which reveals the living room! Solid build and the the perfect size. I can't wait for May 1st when the Kwik-E-Mart is available!! Looking forward to more in this series! Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GET IT! Just finished building the LEGO Simpson's House and it was very satisfying. I built it over a 3 day span but it could be built in one 5-6 hour sitting. The colors, details, size and, my favorite, the pink car are all fantastic! Like many others, my only dislike is the minifig's facial expressions for Bart, Lisa, Marge and Homer. Their eyelids are half closed making them look sleepy or annoyed. I knew this before purchasing but why didn't they just use open eyes like Ned and Maggie? Too wide eyed perhaps? I'll just assume it was for good reason. That being it said, it's still the Simpson's in LEGO!!!! You get a ton of pieces for the price. For a LEGO fan it's a no brainer. If you love the Simpsons like me, it's a must have. GET IT! My only question now is when are they releasing more? The red station wagon? Bart's Treehouse? Moe's? Kwik-E-Mart? Duff Mobile? Otto's Bus? The Android's Dungeon? The possibilities are endless! An entire LEGO Simpson's town **drool**

Rated 5 out of 5 by from D'oh! Lego, you are my new Flanders. I'm 34 years old and going on to be 35 in couple of months. I have never considered buying a Lego product for myself in a million years considering my age and the image I had about Lego being a kid's product. Rightfully so, last time I played with Lego was when I was in kindergarten. Boy, was I wrong! This was my first Lego purchase (January 2016), and only reason I bought it was because I collect Simpsons products. I saw that Lego had this out for quite some time now and didn't even know about it. At the time of purchase, I thought to myself, $200 for Lego? Some plastic toy bricks that I have to assemble?? Well my wife thought I was crazy but I forked over the dough and brought this home. This all changed after I opened the box when I got home and saw all of its contents in its full glory. All the bags were numbered and the instructions were flawless. There were many moments when I thought there was a missing piece but low and behold, there it is, playing hide and seek. As this being my first build, I took it nice and easy. It took me roughly 3hrs a day after work for about 3 days to complete. It now sits proudly on a red framed glass shelf that I purchased specially for displaying my Lego creations… along with many other Lego products I have now. Details on the house is amazing and any of the picture you see here or anywhere else won’t do justice. You just have to get one and see for yourself to truly appreciate the work Lego put into making this a great set. I have proudly shown this off to my friends and coworkers and all of them think it’s “cute” that I got in to Legos, LOL. This was by far one of the better choices I have made! In the famous words of Nelson, Ha~ha!
