Harry Potter™, the legendary boy wizard from Hogwarts™
At the age of one, Harry Potter™ was orphaned and taken to live with his nearest relative, aunt Petunia Dursley. His upbringing there was harsh and uncaring, but while under the Dursley’s roof, he remained safe from his monstrous archenemy, Lord Voldemort™.Eventually, Harry discovered that it was Lord Voldemort that had killed his parents, and that his destiny is somehow tied to this mysterious, evil wizard.
A talented student, Harry soon masters key wizarding skills, such as flying, which helped him get into the Quidditch™ team, and Defense Against the Dark Arts, in which he had regular experience defeating Voldemort’s various acolytes.
- Harry James Potter™ is the eponymous leading character in J. K. Rowling's series of Harry Potter books and movies. He first appeared in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, published in the UK in 1997. The book was published in the U.S. a year later as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
