What went wrong? What happened with the exclusive figures? Why droids again? It is a sad advent calendar with little christmas motives. Even a couple of years ago, a fireplace was made using Luke and Vader’s lightsabers. This year’s rebel snowman is a bit of a copy of the imperial snowman of a past calendar.
The minibuilds look okay but if you are collecting every year’s calendar, you probably have enough Luke speeders and some of the other ships already...
The minifigs are the icing on the cake and that is what kids and not-kids look for.ward to. The minifigs are what makes the advent calendar truly special! After seeing this years’ selection, I feel that none of them live up to the expectations of the season.
I hope LEGO takes the feedback seriously.

Once again, disappointing...Another year, another disappointing Star Wars Advent Calendar. No exclusive holiday fig like from the ones few years back, and only common figs. Another year in which they didn’t use any of the infinite possibilities of nice Star Wars holiday fig, such as a Kylo REN, Rey or even Snoke with some exclusive Christmas printing. The mini builds are nice, but they are mini builds, not much to do with them. I am really disappointed that the only holiday related thing we get is a Christmas tree and a snowman. I would only suggest getting this set for a kid with discount, really pricey set. Hope LEGO learn from these past 2 years and make something really cool next year.

What Happened?Very few holiday references or minifigs. This includes Rose but where is the holiday elements? No Rey? I picked this up without looking at it based on quality of previous years and was glad I checked before putting it up to give to the kids. This is definitely disappointing as a set, aside from the rebel snowman. I don't think my kids would recognize any of these figures or references to Star Wars. I am not stuck in the past but where are any of the mainline characters from the old OR the new timeline? Finn? AHH! Hope next years gets better.

Needed to have more festive mini figuresSeems to lack the Holiday theme this year and last year. I only like the starwars Advent calendar. The only cool mini figure is the General Merrick this year. You get 8 mini figures out of 24 days. I think swapping out for two more mini figures would be more worth spending 40 on this. This year should have been 20$ for what you get.
