Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't cross the streams! Absolutely awesome lego set. I have been recovering at home from an accident and purchased this to keep me busy. It took me a while to build but defiantly kept me entertained right from laying the first pieces. Seeing it take shape as you add different levels is great. The rooms have loads of detail and they reminded me of the scenes from the movies. Good selection of mini figures and plenty of ways to display them through the set. I definitely recommend this lego set. Looks amazing on display!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does this pole still work? This is the third set I've ordered directly from the online Lego Shop and by far the largest I've put together. The package arrived quickly with no issues with the box or any of its contents. The box itself is BIG, bigger than I expected actually lol. Everything was well organized and while some reviews I'd read stated that some had extra bags, I did not, (at the end just a small plastic bag with a few spare pieces). As for the build, the instruction booklet was more like a novel (over 400 pages) but it was very easy to understand and get through. I worked on it for a week when I had time and all together put about 21 hours into it. Each set of bags when finished had maybe 6 or 7 spare pieces so that wasn't too bad. Hat's off to the design team at Lego. The amount of detail put into this set is unbelievable. I've been a Ghostbusters fan since I was a kid and loved the nostalgia trip I took while putting this together. The lockers hold proton packs, the ghost trap opens up, even the fridge holds food. One of the coolest things has to be the small tribute to Harold Ramis. I LOVE this set. While it is very pricey just know that you get what you pay for and then some. I only wished the Ecto-1 was able to fit inside without taking things out, but that's a very small gripe. If you're a fan of Ghostbusters like I am, you'll seriously love adding this to your collection. 5/5

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Who you gonna call? LEGO! So after waiting for what seemed like a lifetime the firehouse finally arrived. It took somewhere in the region of 15-16 hours to complete and was very enjoyable throughout. This is going to fit nicely in my den as a large model to look at and enjoy. Pros: Excellent attention to detail used on the small pieces and mini figures, the HQ has everything inside it that you find in the films Takes aspects from both Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II in the inside for the detailed equipment and aesthetics of the HQ Pieces are in numbered bags and the guide tells you which bags you need for each section of the build Cons: Use of stickers for some of the detail pieces. Some pieces were printed others needed the sticker which can cause issues of getting straight etc The instruction guide is printed on black paper which is in keeping with the spooky, ghostly theme of Ghostbusters but not so great for trying to identify the darker pieces needed sometimes. Overall a very pleasing and fun build. This was my 1st Lego build of this kind of scale in over 20 years and I managed perfectly fine. I would recommend this to any Lego or Ghostbuster fan

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME BUILD!!!! I gotta admit that this was my first big Lego build. My hubby got it for my birthday. The Disney Castle was sold out, but this one had more pcs...so it was a win. And, I'm also a big Ghostbusters fan. It would have taken me less time, but my hubby made me space out the build. I really enjoyed it and my 4 year old munchkin is kind of mad that I won't let her play with it :). Eventually she will...I just want some time with it on display before she comes through like Stay Puft. Definitely worth the time and money! :)
