Great Dragon and buildingthis set is fantastic, first off let me say the price for this set is a really good value $80 bucks for almost 1,200 pieces is fantastic in my book. when I first saw the price I had thought someone had put the set in the wrong spot but nope it really is only $80 for almost 1,200 pieces. now I don't watch Ninjago that much but I love these new figures for this Hands of Time theme especially for the bad guys with the snakes and so on is really cool. This is only my second dragon from ninjago, the first is from the Final Flight of Destiny's Bounty, and I have to say I really like this dragon with the 2 colors fighting with each other looks really cool. but the forge I love, its a lot bigger than I thought it was gonna be and has a bunch of cool little fixtures that I didn't know it was gonna have until I built it. I'm defiantly added it to my Lego city when ever I build one haha. overall this set is really good , a great value for your money even if your not a huge Ninjago fan like I am you wont be too disappointed with this set!

Dragon's Forge ReviewThe Ninjago Dragon's Forge is an excellent set. You can Just skip to the conclusion if you want to see pros and cons or are short on time.
These are a high point of the set. Kai and Nya have exclusive faces to the set. They both have a normal expression on one side and an alternative face with orange eyes for Kai and blue for Nya. Kai also holds the time blade for the set, which is the reversal version of the piece. Both come with an alternative hair piece. The parents are the most desirable minifigs in the set, at least to me. Both look great and are very detailed. Ray has a great dragon print on his torso and a normal and scared face. He also comes with handcuffs. Maya has a cool hairpiece and a normal and scared face. She comes with a wooden staff. The vermillion in the set are also nice. The print on their torso of snakes is very detailed but kind of creepy.
THE BUFFMILLION MECH
Its alright. It relies too much on stickers and is kind of flimsy. It falls over way too easily. It looks fine, but i feel they could of made better use of the parts.
The dragon simply looks great. My favorite part is where the fire and water element criss-cross at the back. It has lots of articulation and looks a lot less cluttered than the dragon from 9450. It also features a stud-shooting crossbow piece.
The forge itself looks really nice. It has lots of nice details on the interior. If you lift up a 2x4 stickered tile on the left side of the forge it reveals a mini 1x2 tile with a sticker of samurai X. This is a throwback to the samurai X spinner from 2012. In the center of the forge it features two working hammers. The function is really simple but gets the job done. On the right side of the forge they have a nice rest area. It features two cups, a teapot and two sushi elements. Under the front staircase of the forge there is what is referred to as the dragon blade. You can stick it into the tan technic pin in the center of the forge. This makes the fire move and the 2x4 tile at the top of the forge spin to reveal different stickers with cool designs. The function is cool but unconventional. If your like me you can use the technic gear on the back, which is simpler and much easier.
The Dragon's Forge is a great set. It looks great and plays well.
Pros: The forge looks great, the set has good play value and awesome minifigs, the dragon also looks excellent.
Cons: Buffmillion mech is kind of flimsy and the forge looks too plain on the back.
So in conclusion Dragon's Forge is excellent for 79.99 US/74.99 UK

One of the Best Ninjago Sets Ever! This set is AWESOME especially since it's only $80! I would have expected it to be at least $90. Let's start with the minifigs. Kai and Nya are both great, they have new faces and they also come with their hairpieces. Their faces aren't very show accurate though, especially Kai. His smile just looks a bit weird, I like his older expression. Nya should have red lips like in the show, but whatevs at least it's not that generic city face they've been giving us. Ray and Maya are so detailed and show accurate, and they really do look related to Kai and Nya. Raggmunk and Slackjaw are awesome, their accessories and printing showing snakes bursting through their armor looks so good. Also I like the name Slackjaw, it reminds me of Frakjaw from 2011. All minifigs have double sided heads. And they include a ton of extra weapons for the minifigs.
The Buffmillion mech is nice, I would have liked one brick built snake head attached rather than 4 small heads, but who knows, maybe it has 4 heads in the show.
Now the dragon is one of the best dragons ever made, I think this second multi-headed dragon we've gotten since Lloyd's Ultra Dragon. I love the transparent pieces on it, and toward the back the colors swirl around each other making it really look like 2 dragons were fused together. it has a crossbow on it too which is nice for play.
The blacksmith shop is the second one we got too, the first being Kai's Blacksmith Shop in 2011. It does not disappoint. It is fully enclosed all the way around, and opens from the front. I like the circular windows and the roof. The interior is packed with detail, I love the kitchen and blacksmith elements, like the anvils and all the tools. The chimney has some nice stickers and acts as a perch for the dragon. The dragon is perched by the belly, so it doesn't look that nice from the back with its legs just hanging off. There are some nice small details too, like the inclusion of sushi and a small tile piece with a trading card sticker on it (an homage to the old spinner game from 2011 and 2012).
Price per part ratio
Realism of the Blacksmith shop and all the details on it
Buffmillion mech is a bit weak
Dragon should be perched on his feet not belly
(These are very minor complaints though)
5/5 bricks buy this set!!!

Love the forge and figures.I love the three part fold open design of the forge and the general look of it. It is nice enough that I intend to keep it set up and display it.
I like the new gi/body prints for Kai and Nya. I love that it looks like we'll get to meet their parents. While I would much rather have set with Ed & Edna Walker in the Jalopy from Ningaball Run episode, I do love the forge with these parents of *other* ninja.
The design of the dragon was well done, but I dislike that it is almost all back with just a smattering of Nya and Kai's signature colors. Why so much black, LEGO designers? The dragon also has printed tiles with Kai and Nya's seals in the same style as the tile seals on the 70595 Ultra Stealth Raider.
I love the printed sushi bento box tiles. I love the graphics of the rug, but unfortunately it is a sticker.
Way too many stickers in this set. I don't like putting them on, and they never age nor wear well.
