Amazing SetFirst of all, this set is just awesome. There's a ton of excellent stuff in this set, but I cannot overlook the fact that it is definitely overpriced. This is the only reason I gave it four stars instead of a full five. But anyway, on with the review.
Kylo Ren-excellent figure, great face and hair, amazing helmet
Finn-pretty good figure, good for what it is, incredible hair piece
Maz-awesome figure, beautiful head mold, detailed printing
First Order Stormtrooper-incredible figure, very desirable, very good helmet
FN-2199 (a.k.a. TR-8R)-great figure, good baton, not much else to say
-Design & look
-It's a playset
-Back side of set is a little unfinished
It looks like that's it for this review. I hope this helps you make a descission about whether or not to buy this set! I would strongly recommend this!
This set only includes two First Order stormtroopers. However, in my attached picture, there are four showcased. If you want to obtain more First Order Stormtroooers, consider the First Order Battle Pack or the First Order Troop Transporter.

There Are Better SW Sets...The main reasons I got this set were the unique unmaskable Kylo and Maz minifigures, and the fact it was 20% off on Amazon.
-The minifigures are great, I normally dislike those little short legs, but on Maz it works and her head mold is great.
-The Action Features are nice, but I only care about the sliding doors and falling tree, the other two are rather weak.
-It looks good as set dressing when placed against a wall, will pair nicely with Kylo's shuttle to recreate the scene in the movie.
-I hate to comment on it normally, but Price. This feels exceedingly overpriced, so much so I only bought it because it was 20% off.
-Weaker action features. This set features 4, the doors and falling tree are nice not just for play but also for posing for a display. However, the stud thrower and breaking walls are weak. The wall is overly sensitive on it's trigger, but barely explodes off when triggered. The stud thrower in the floor has the opposite problem, it sends up an explosion effect, but only if it works, I put 4 studs in it as a test, pushed it, 2 came out, but the other 2 got stuck inside side by side.
Overall, I don't regret buying it, but I wouldn't have gone out of my way and paid full price for it. There are better LEGO SW sets out there to get with my disposable income.

'I Assume You Need Something - Desperately'It's so nice to have a set that's based on a location from The Force Awakens rather than a ship. Takodana is where Maz Kanata's castle is found and where (like the name suggest) a battle between Rey, Finn, Chewie and Han against the First Order takes place.
This is a great set that is a nice easy build and comes with fun play features and amazing minifigures. The build is very enjoyable and manages to capture a lot of detail into quite a small model, with the use of only 2 stickers for added detail. It captures some of Maz's castle and uses a banner over the door to add some movie accuracy (in the movie there are hundreds of banners). There's also a secret compartment for Luke's old lightsaber which adds even more movie accuracy.
The play features include the ability to 'destroy' the model. The first is to be able to push out studs over the steps leading up to the castle, as to give the impression of the steps being blasted by a laser. The second is to be able to knock over a tree, which could happen more than one way (being blasted or by using the Force are two options). The third is to be able to 'knock' down two of the walls that have been blasted. Finally there's a little piece you can turn to reveal the hidden casket in which is Luke's old lightsaber (which Maz somehow managed to get hold of).
The minifigures are the best thing about this set. Included are Finn, who is no different to his minifigure from the Millennium Falcon except that he comes with Luke's old lightsaber, Maz Kanata who is extremely movie accurate and simply a wonderful minifigure, FN-2199 or the First Order Stormtrooper with the riot control weapon (the stormtrooper who yells 'Traitor!' to Finn and whom Finn battles), another First Order Stormtrooper, and Kylo Ren who now comes with a face and hair (which his minifigure didn't have prior to the release of The Force Awakens), and his mask and his tattered cape, and is amazingly movie accurate!
This is a brilliant set and it's a great little representation of Maz's castle. It's wonderful for role play -there are a multitude of re-creatable scenes- and also looks great on display. It's a great location set and is a must have for any Star Wars or Force Awakens collection!

Pretty DecentI bought this with the rest of my Christmas money, and sometimes I feel like it's a bit of a waste of money. It should be 40$ instead, but lets focus on what giving TLG a wad of cash gets you, shall we?
The main attraction is a part of Maz's castle. Not the whole thing, just a section of it, mainly the front, but also a wall on the left side. I feel that in general, it's a bit small for what it's supposed to be. It also has a few action features! These include a gear you can spin on the back of the wall which makes some of it fall, a lever which makes the tree fall, a nozzle which makes a box come sliding out, sliding doors at the front of the castle, and a switch which makes studs fly out of the castle's entrance. These are all nice, but after the first time triggering them, they start to feel a bit gimmicky, as do most lego action features.
Now, on to the juicy part, (and 25% of the reason why I bought this set) the minifigures! This set has some great minifigures, which include the likes of Finn, Kylo Ren, Maz Kanata, and two First Order stormtroopers (one being the famous TR-8R, or Nines). This set's strong suit is the figures, as until now, Finn and Kylo weren't easy to get, and Maz didn't even have a figure! To sum this section up: this set's got some great figures!
*The minifigure selection
*Features aren't that fun and they're gimmicky
