Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is where the fun begins... The lego Anakin's jedi starfighter is a great little set for kids and adult fans of the show. You get Anakin's starfighter from the clone wars TV series with Anakin and R2-D2. The ship has a nice design and I think Lego did a good job making a lego set of it. However, I think the cockpit area is too high up, and the shaping from the cockpit to the wings shouldn't be so steep. You get 2 stud shooters witch look fine, and can be used for play. This set is a little unstable, as the landing gear is only 1 stud wide. So it is easy to tip over. Overall, I think this is a decent representation of the ship, with a good price, but with the odd shaping of the cockpit section and weak stability, this set goes from a great set to a good set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value Star Wars Fighter First of the new Season I have bought and built, I still got the two speeder bikes from the cloud riders to build from the Han Solo film. It's a lovely set, fantastic fun to build and actually great value for money. The set is a striking combination of yellow and grey bricks and is very sleek looking. The Anakin Minifig looks great and reminds me of the "Revenge of the sith" look he had as a pilot of an Eta 2 fighter in the battle of Coruscant. There is a lot of stickers for this set BUT you get a printed console piece for Anakin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well done Lego. The set looks Awesome without stickers but I feel warm that Anakin has a console to look at so he don't need to use the force as much to fly his fighter against the CIS just cos I don't like stickers. An awesome striking and cheap lego STAR WARS fighter. If your kid likes this sort of thing, this is the best set to buy. :D

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Awesome Foreshadowing of the Clone Wars' Return This set has so many awesome things going for it, the main things being the price and being from the CW. For $17 at Wal-Mart upon release, that can hardly be beat for the 247 included pieces, as well as a unique rendition of Anakin Skywalker and the ever reappearing R2-D2. Anakin looked great, with excellent back printing and leg printing - except for his face. The inclusion of a gold headset - which only appeared in Ep. III and never the clone wars - kind of ruins this figure for me. LEGO has essentially disabled him from doing anything else besides flying, which bothers me for creativity sake. I wouldn't mind if the headset was on one side of his face, but they did put it on both. I was glad to see the iconic hairpiece hadn't changed. The fighter itself is very sturdy, and despite having a lot of stickers, it was still a very well-designed and good-looking set. The use of technic instead of click-hinges to attach the wings was good, and creates a more stable look and feel to the set, although the gaps between the body and the wings were a bit distracting. The color scheme is excellent, looking very accurate to the clone wars TV series. The cockpit looks great, and I was glad to get a printed control panel for the first time in a while it seems. I wasn't a fan of the gap at the bottom of the cockpit where you can see the engines from the top, and I think that should have been a pretty easy fix, but for the price and amount of pieces I'll let that slide. The landing gear functions well, and the people who like lightsaber storage will be pleased to know that there is a clip on the bottom of the fighter for his lightsaber. Overall, this set is fantastic for the price and just for what it is, so be sure to pick this up, although I do believe it could be improved upon with pieces from your own collection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Begun the Clone Wars Has Just built the Anakin’s Jedi Starfighter 75214 and found this to be great. This is the Delta-7 version seen in the Clone Wars and the model is very good. The assembly is easy and fun and took me about two hours. I’m not a fan of stud-shooters but on this set they work. I really liked the clip for the Light Saber. There is great play value for the younger set and for us collector’s it’s a great addition. Also, the new Anakin Clone Wars figure that is more Lego Minifig standard is much better than the previous “cartoony” version from 2007. Overall this set is good but I did have some issues. The holes at the bottom sides of the cockpit could have been eliminated and when you attach the wings there are gaps that detract from the look of the fighter. Also, unusual for Lego, a step is omitted in the instructions – where the technic bricks are added to attach the port wing. Nit-picking? – probably. Yet, for $25 Canadian you can’t go wrong. There is great value here and this should be a must for your Lego Star Wars collection. It will look great next to my Obi-Wan Jedi Interceptor.
