I'm opening a savings account with the Brick bank.A high quality, spacious Lego building design with plenty of authentic detail. The exterior style, the vault design, the laundrette and its 'money laundering' connection to the bank are all great features. But it's the little things that make the modulars very special: the outside clock is an exquisite piece of Lego, along with the floor tilling to the bank and the laundrette. The unusual sculptural design above the bank doors (I'm not sure what it's supposed to be?) as well as the washing machines are marvelous to observe. I especially like the top floor sky light. The whole structure was a satisfying build, but it's also just a joy to look at. In terms of play: I'm a 'grown-up' so I don't really do that, but it's a lot less difficult to move mini figures around in because theres' so much more open space for my large hands (unlike the Detectives office, which was more tricky), and this makes a big difference for me. I would strongly urge Lego to take this into account with future modulars. An all-round superb piece of Lego.

Small buildingUnfortunately, corer modular buildings are weaker compared to the others in my opinion. Even though the Brick Bank is the best corner building so far, there are plenty of let downs.
Usually, with the newest modular building, there are plenty of new building techniques. However, there were none that were memorable. The exterior looks rather plain in appearance, which is not necessarily a bad thing, (I don't really want a bank to stand out in my city) but the exterior, ESPECIALLY the second floor, could have been a lot more complex and attractive.
Interior-wise, it's good. I love that for the first time we get tiling on a corner building. However, the rest of the interior doesn't offer much. On the second level, we only get two small offices. I also despise the balcony, as I feel it limits the space. However the chandelier is a nice touch.
However, the most disappointing aspect of the set is the height. It is by far the shortest modular building in the series, and you pay $170 for it. I compared it to Town Hall, and the bank is about half the size, but only $30 less. I'm not a fan of the slight price increase. Yes modern modulars have more pieces, but they are smaller and more compact.
Despite my negativity, this is a passable set, but I would not recommend this as a first modular set. I'd recommend getting Parisian Restaurant first before it retires.

Adds an nice diverse look to my LEGO streetOverall, the Brick Bank has been a wonderful and exciting build. One of the things that I really enjoy about this model is how much design the LEGO people have put into this model. they have made a beautiful corner building, but these are a few of the amazing interior designs:
- The bank's floor has an interesting and intricate design
- How fun it is to put the money through the washing machine (spoiler alert!)
- The fun way that the robbers go down into the vault (spoiler alert!)
- How nicely the vault door closes and STAYS closed.
- The nice new SHINY gold bar-all the old ones looked dull and not even in the shape of a gold bar. Finally LEGO decided to improve that horrible element.
- New really cool gold and silver coins
Coming back to how you put money through the washing machine---after 3 or 4 or 5 bills, it gets clogged and does not work very well. Also, there is not enough room in the vault to hold all the money- some of it has to stay out.
I feel that the laundromat lacks design. The outside is good enough, but the inside just has a chair and no desk to pay or anything like that.
My least favorite part of this model is that when you put the top level on, in the middle on the front, it does not go fully down and gives a bad showcase look.
Thank you so much for reading my review of this amazing model.
Yay for LEGO!!!

A fantastic set!The Brick Bank does not disappoint! It has everything that you could ask for in a bank set, and it looks superb! The outside aesthetic is just fantastic, it has possibly the best architecture of any modular yet! Everything about the bank building gives a feeling of opulence and wealth, from the exquisite detailing and pillars on the outside to the gold trimming and crystal chandelier on the inside. The vault is great, with the piles of cash and deposit boxes, and I like how the manager's office overlooks the lobby in a typical fashion. The laundromat has also been done very well, it looks just like any you would see in movies or TV.
I love the play features of the set, its worth noting that the "money laundering" mechanism is especially entertaining, as is the chimney that leads to the vault!
The only downsides that I can think of are that it could include another minifigure, maybe a normal person as a laundromat customer, and that it does feel a bit small, with the 2nd floor only 3/4th of its possible size, and only 1/2 of it is really used in detail. In comparison, the Detective's Office has 1st and 2nd floor fully utilised, and 3rd floor 1/2 utilised. It is worth noting though, that the Brick Bank has a larger floor space as it is a corner building that extends all the way to the back corner, and although it looks smaller than other modulars (it is the shortest one yet, but not by much), it is one of the most impressive looking, probably mainly because of its fantastic exterior.
All in all, its definitely a 10/10 set, they've really done well with this modular and I don't have any real complaints!
