Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very attractive little set, with a brilliant figure selection. This set is begging to be supplemented with a canteena battle pack with some individual yet-to-be-minifigurised characters. (We've seen Lego are interested in making these kind of sets since the bounty hunter battle pack last year). I think there'd even be an appetite for a set consisting of an additional section of the canteen that could be attached to this one between the main doors and the chair section, with Ponda Baba and Dr Evazan and maybe the band. Do it Lego! It would be nice!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Price doesn’t match the content This is a beautiful set that is easy to build and looks good. Unfortunately the price is to high for the product. The moving chairs, door and gun on the speeder are well done and easy to assemble. The play area is a little small for those with bigger fingers but is fine for children.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Han, Han shot first. I very much enjoyed this set. The building was easy, but maybe that is just because I just finished a UCS set and this was just smaller. Speaking of smaller, this is a smaller model than the 2014 one, and is a copy of the first one it feels like. I never had the other two, so this is a nice one to get... But if you do have one of the other two, or at least the 2014 one, you do not need this one. The figs are awesome. We get the new Han Solo, a new Greedo, the bartender (I am forgetting his name) and a new sandtrooper. The new speeder is cool, altho I do wish it had something for the sandtrooper instead. The bar is a fun build and fun looking thing after being built up. The door is just a sliding door, just like we see in almost every star wars set nowadays. You can move the chairs and pick who you want to shoot first. *cough* Han *cough* All in all a nice little set. I am happy I picked this up at Toys R Us, I almost grabbed the First Order AT-ST... YIKES!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from One step forwards, two steps back. Given how when lego sets are updated and re-released, I tend to expect an overall change to the scope of the set. When the Mos Eisley Cantina was first released in 2004ish, my mind was blown, because we got Han, Luke, Obi-Wan, and brand new to the lego line, a Sandtrooper, and Greedo. To add, we got a Dewback, Luke's X-34 landspeeder, as well as the cantina which was really just a door, a table, and a small bar. It wasn't great by today's standards, but it was amazing at the time. Fast forward ten years and we get a huge improvement. We got Han, as well as Luke, Obi-Wan, Greedo, and a Sandtrooper with updated textures, as well as 3 Bith musicians, a largely expanded Cantina, updated X-34, and a Dewback that can be customized to be either domesticated or wild. This set was larger, but definitely worth the price. And four years later we have this. This set isn't terrible, but it isn't an improvement. It's really just...average. Han is updated with his new hair, and we finally have Wuher as well as a White Pauldron Sandtrooper with updated textures, and of course greedo. But really, this set seems like a version of the 2004 edition with a slightly updated pieces. The Ubrikkian 9000 is a nice touch that makes it feel new, but this set seems really average and lackluster compared to the 2014 version. Like my title, it feels like one step forward (Wuher and the Ubrikkian 9000), and two steps back (drastically reduced Cantina size, with a lower amount of minifigures).
