Rated 5 out of 5 by from Meme Review: Set 2000430 First off, this isn't aimed towards mostly anyone that would buy actual LEGO sets. This is targeted towards larger companies. The large price per part ratio may seem rather bad, but you need to recognize the large number of baseplates and Duplo pieces in this set. In my personal opinion, this makes a great set for bolstering LEGOs for building. There's tons of different bricks, plates, and parts that just make it pretty worth the price. Boat hulls, baseplates, a whole lotta gold, you name it, this large number of bricks has it! Just try to keep in mind that the target demographic is most likely not you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Target audience: Companies I was very surprised to see this product on shop.lego.com. The education series are not on this site, but the Serious Play series are. Maybe you are trying to reach a different demographic - adult fans that are employed in team building, large companies, managers, etc. that are looking for a Lego way to team build and teach process. I can see that. This is not something that would be purchased by a parent for their child or maybe even by AFOL individuals, but I love the Serious Play concept and am excited to see them offered on this site. I am sharing this info with an AFOL that is responsbile for my company's training.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Special Set For Specific Application I am a certified Lego Serious Play facilitator. Having access to this special mix of Lego and Duplo bricks is great. Sure, I wish it were cheaper, but the ease of having what I need for the exercises makes this a great resource to have. I would not recommend this set to anyone not using it for LSP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I literally just found my 23rd Birthday Present!!! THIS THING IS AWESOME!!!!! It's got some many unique pieces!!! Some of which I didn't even know were still in production, (I'm looking at you, trans-orange asteroid piece). I mean really, boats, castles, minifigs, wheels, nets, ropes, cables, baseplates, antennas, plants, trays, railings, I'm pretty sure I say some sharks in there, and ALL. THAT. GOLD!!!!! I mean really, I thought they stopped making Chrome Gold ingots, guess I was wrong..... Plus you've got ladders, axles, gears, flags, hats, skeletons, wooden tubs and crates, and I counted at least two BURP bricks. Plus, although I won't be using them, the lineup also includes several Duplo elements, which the timing couldn't be better , as we just welcomed a new addition to the family in the form of my older cousin's new baby girl!!! He must be so proud, and I'm certain he'll appreciate the gift that Older Second Cousin Matthew got for his daughter, who is the Younger Second Cousin to me, Older Second Cousin Matthew, (I would call myself Uncle Matthew, but I don't think my Older Cousin would like that too much, as he has a younger Brother and even younger Sister, both of whom are my younger cousins, (I should note that, as far as my 7 younger cousins go, my older cousin's little siblings are the oldest of my younger cousins)). Now, where was I? Oh right, this set totally screams EVERYTHING IS AWESOME at the top of it's little plastic minifig lungs!!! Plus, this set totally reminds me of the first Lego Brick Bucket I ever got, it had a couple minifigs, a little red-and-light-grey tow-hook piece, a little yellow antenna, some wheels, and a whole bunch of bricks!!! Just like this set, only this is that original set all grown up!!! Hold on, let me see if I can find that set number anywhere..... Checks Brickset.... Asks why in the name of Mata Nui they list over 400 entries under basic but don't show anything when you lock on it..... keeps looking.... Right, found it..... This set is just like set 4288, except it's all grown up!!! EVERYTHING IS STILL AWESOME!!!!! I am seriously going to have a second childhood moment with this thing, that is, of course, if my mother finds it worthy of her time and money....... Can't believe I'm going to be 23 and I'm still not financially stable. Oh well, beats being stuck at.... Oh, I better not say that place's name again.... Anyways, this set is totally awesome, and I'm more than certain there is even more to this set than what meets the eye. Although, I will say that, for the same parts count as most Modular Buildings, I think over $700 is a little extreme, but I can see why, as a lot of the elements in this set are older, and some of which I am actually surprised to see here, considering how long ago they were first made!!! The only thing that could've made this set even better, would have been to include one of those unreleased Lego Wild West Theme Buffalo figures. That would have made this set PERFECT!!! Anyways, THIS IS AWESOME!!! I rate it 10/10 for the parts included, and about 3/10 for the price, seriously, $790 dollars is a little much, I could see the new UCS Millennium Falcon going for this much, but not this. Either way, AWESOME SET!!! Rockatoa, Brickticks out!
