The Greatest Lego Set EverI had been waiting for almost 4 months to buy this set when it was finally available for purchase on the lego website. Living in Australia, there is very limited opportunity to purchase it, as we don't have any lego stores and eBay charge twice as much. Yet when it finally came I realised the Falcon was worth every bit of the effort I went through to get it. I built the beauty over the course of a week, and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. It was incredible to build and I can't remember ever having more fun with lego building. The final model is incredible. I really didn't understand how big it was until I had finished building myself and its immense! It is enormously detailed and I love that it comes with the crews from two trilogies. I finally have a detailed model of the most iconic ship from Star Wars and the design of it is fantastic. The features are superb and I love that they have included a few interior rooms to increase its playability, although thats pretty limited by the weight of it. It was a pleasure to build and just looks great. I strongly recommend it to anyone who likes star wars lego. Easily worth the price. My one criticism would probably be that there is this big bit of space inside at the back which I think could have been made into another room without compromising structural integrity in any way, but its only a minor complaint. Overall I love it.

Makes for a great coffee table! This build was so fun. The engineering used to create this build is very impressive. It is fun and surprising to see the clever ways engineering problems were solved with lego. I made a coffee table out of cedar slats, plexiglass, and bought hairpin legs.

We're gonna need a bigger table...In a word... magnificent. This set truly is a masterpiece! It took me just over 26 hours to build over the course of 7 days but boy was it worth it!
10/10 for a collector.
2/10 for a kid as you can't really play with this but I mean come on... it weighs just over 13kg...you can't exactly swoosh it around!
P.s. Google effermans Milenium falcon ucs stand.
P.p.s thank you lego for the best lego set EVER!

uhm...WOW!!I'm not really sure what to say about this set other than i'm glad that i finally got one after it only being in stock for one hour once in a blue moon. This is the biggest set Lego have ever made and I doubt that they will make another bigger one for a very long time. I already have the original UCS Falcon from 10 years ago that i bought a few months previously from an auction in new condition. They are both pretty much the same size, and i have to say that these sets are definitely not for kids! they are very heavy and hard to pick up even I struggle with my puny Jarjar arms!
This set has over 2000 more pieces in than the original but it doesn't look it, that is because it has hundreds of tiny pieces for very intricate detailing, which is its strongest point. This set has more play-ability than the previous version which is what UCS sets normally don't have as they are models. If Lego wanted UCS sets to have more kid friendly playability then they should have added much more.
Now for my gripes! This set does feel unfinished however that is debatable, there are 2 sections which are play areas, the other 2 aren't really accessible, when you take the top panels off you will see that inside it looks very unfinished, almost like they forgot to add something, i end up breaking the bottom when i pick it up, i feel like i need to finish it off! The value for money is understandable as it is less than 10p per brick. Overall i'm glad I got this before the scalpers! (Well done for decreasing the limit to 1pc, thank you)
