Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly Good! I normally buy the big sets for the size, challenge, number of bricks etc and I don't often leave reviews because generally anything I would say has already been said. I thought I'd make an exception in this case. I acquired the original Ecto-1, then bought the Firehouse, both of which are fantastic, so I felt compelled to buy the new Ecto-1, to add to the set. I was expecting a straight forward car, not too many pieces and fairly predictable but I was pleasantly surprised. There are a few subtle building techniques that I wasn't expecting and really enjoyed as the model came together. If you're at all tempted then take my word for it, buy it, you won't be disappointed. Be under no illusion, it's just a car, but it's nicely thought out and well worth adding to the collection. I bought extra bricks to recreate the original Ecto-1 minifigs stand but was unable to buy the tile with the Ghostbusters badge on it; probably a licencing issue, not to be sold separately from an official set or something. Still, it does the job and really adds a finishing touch I think. The extra bit were only £2.50(ish) +P&P

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bustin' makes me feel good (and so does this set) A fantastic recreation of the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot's Ecto-1 and 2. The characters are all recognisable in cute LEGO form with a great amount of accessories for each, all taken straight from the movie. The gracious amount of printed pieces is well appreciated as I myself am useless at applying stickers properly. The equipment on top of the roof of Ecto-1 is spot on accurate to the in film car. The ability to fit all 4 team members in the car, with Kevin riding Ecto-2, is brilliant as I feel there is an overabundance of vehicle sets that come with more figures than can fit in the actual vehicle itself (looking at you Tie Fighters). Overall, I only have very minute problems with the set and I mean REALLY minute. Ecto-2 falls over very easily due to not having any kind of a stand of which most LEGO motorcycles have. Also, none of the Ghostbusters can stand up while wearing the Proton packs. They're just too heavy. The original Ecto-1 came with a stand for the figures, so why didn't this? Finally, it bugs me that the ghost included, the mischievous 'Mayhem', is the wrong colour. Here, he is red, where in the film he is most definitely bright green. This is a fantastic set, of which I would advise any Ghostbusters fan to get. Even if you didn't like the new film, or are one of these people that don't like it despite having not seen it yet (which is absurd) this is still a very well made LEGO set, worthy of anyone's collection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Stickers- Otherwise Fantastic I love absolutely everything about this set except for the clear stickers. The build is fun. There are some very neat uses of bricks and I especially liked the new tire/axle method. The mini- figures are all great with Kevin being the weakest of the bunch. Lego went above and beyond as far as mini-figure detail and creation of new wigs. I think the play quality is here, the set looks great next to Classic Ecto-1, and the cost of the set was spot on. Then there are the clear stickers...I wish I had just left them off as they make the set look worse. All of my stickers have air bubbles and two of them were cut in a weird fashion. I used tweezers to apply and wiped off fingerprints prior to applying. The stickers still look horrid. I wish Lego had gone with solid print stickers. The adhesive would not show through so terribly and the air bubbles would not have looked so bad either. This is my only complaint about such a wonderful set. Thanks for looking at my review and happy building to all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Buy That I Ever Made!!! This product absolutely astonished me to how similar it is to the ecto 1 in the 2016 movie and i loved every moment of the build from the unboxing to placing the last piece and my excitement never dropped throughout the build, the ecto 2 was just the icing on the cake as it was better than expected, i think that the set could have been improved by adding a few extra pieces to the ecto 2 but it is understandable with the lack of space on the bike. Very well done LEGO and what a build it is and thank you to the designer of this truly amazing set.
