Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally! I have been waiting for a Collectable Minifigures Character Encyclopedia for quite some time, and it's finally here! You receive the fully colored encyclopedia of 160 Minifigures from Series 1-10, and the Toy Soldier figure that is exclusive to this book. First off, the Toy Soldier comes with a wind up key on his back and a brown musket. I think he is a nicely printed figure with the light gold coloring on his arms and legs. The book itself is highly detailed and includes many fun facts throughout. It also includes a page for the Toy Soldier and Mr. Gold. Overall, I think this is a great book for anyone that loves the Collectable Minifigures Series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Amazing Minifigure Encyclopedia! The LEGO Minifigure Encyclopedia is a great buy! Let me just say that right off! The book is highly detailed going from Series 1 Minifigures all the way to the new Toy Soldier, who you can get exclusively in this book. The first time you get the book you will flip it open and be amazed at the detail and awesome work that was done on this. In the very front you can actually see how they come up with the Minifigures designs step by step! After that it goes into the details of Series 1 and shows you the Minifigures, what they like and dislike, and otherwise. One of the features is the book references other Minifigures and if you are a collector, like me, this could be helpful in organizing them. The book ends with a colorful page that shows a welcoming party. But, there is a little mistake, which I don’t know if they have fixed yet. There are two Hippies on the back cover and unless you are really picky this won’t matter. Now for the Toy Soldier to go under our magnifying glass. The Toy Soldier, by far, is an amazing edition to the Minifigures! I love the detailed cuff links on his arms, the design of his torso, his recolored hat, which premiered in the LEGO Pirates series most recently, his wind up key, which has appeared on the Series 6 Clockwork Robot, and finally the side pieces on his legs, in gold! This is one amazing Minifigure. Now for the Pros and Cons! Pros. The Toy Soldier (EXCLUSIVE to this book!!!) The detailed book with all its features! Cons. Maybe a little pricey? Overall the Pros way out way the Cons and overall, this is a good buy! Pick it up while supplies last and go into the world fabulous world of the LEGO Minifigure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very cool This book is amazing. There is actually a lot of information in this book for every minifigure made up to the date it was written. The illustrations are amazing in this book-well they are from computers but still look wonderful. There are a lot of fun captions for things about every minifigure, and the minifigures are categorized by series. There is also some storyline in the book, the toy soldier minifigure is looking for a party. Throughout the pages he is asking for directions, and at the end he finds it. I enjoyed looking at the amazing pictures captions, and learning everything about my favorite minifigures. As for the toy soldier, he has a very nice wind up toy piece in his back, and a very cool little hat. He has side printing on his legs, and a cool rifle piece. Overall he adds some nice collectability to the book, and I highly recommend getting this book.
