Although they may be strong for their size, it is still not that great strengh wise. However it is very fast so it gives you the option to gear it down for more power (which is exactly what I did). another pro is that you can run up two four of them from a single battery box. I will say that is much easier to intagrate into studed creations because it has a small base that can fit onto studs. I will now do a motor comparison for your benifit. M-motor vs. XL-motor. The xl-motor is way better for big creations and if you are going to buy a pf motor or two, then spend the extra two bucks and get some real pf power. M-motor vs. NXT Servo Motor. There is no comparison whatsoever. hands down the nxt servo has better performance, but the price may be the deciding factor for you. here are the numbers: NXT Servo Motor: $20 vs. PF M-Motor $7.50. The price for power: NXT Brick: $150 vs. PF Battery Box: $7. For rechargeable cababilities: NXT Brick: $150, NXT Rechargeable Battery: $55, NXT Rechargeable Battery Transformer: $24 vs. PF Rechargeable Battery Box: $50. There are the numbers, use them to your advantage, but in my opinion, if you are going to buy a PF motor, get the XL-motor every time, because the M-Motor just doesn't cut it for power and tourqe.Var dette nyttigt?35

I was having problems with my wire when I was freebuilding(no instruction building) a Gold Rush Washplant, i had to have my wire at a certain angle to get it to work. Then, after using it real quick for a test I turned my battery box off, 10 or 20 seconds later I turned it back on and my engine gave no response. I tried angling my wire in different spots and every thing, even unplugging it from the battery box, then putting a crank on the engine, hooking the wire to the lights, the spinning the crank. I did this because when I first received the motor I found out that when you do this, the lights flicker, but today, no response. Over all, the motor can be challenging to make it do certain things, expecially because of it being so hard to hold the engine down, and the lifespan of the product is not very good. I most likely will not get this product again, but can I please get contacted by an Lego Official about my problems, Please.Byggeerfaring: Ekspert LEGO byggerVar dette nyttigt?35
- 11 months agorating.prefix5rating.postfixgreat product, AMAZING deallegoskiguy | 14-18Jeg vil anbefale denne til en ven!I needed a bunch of motors for a good price to make motorized ski lifts for my ski resort, and these are perfect! the price is great when you need to buy several and they don't use too much power (I have a lot of power functions parts going in so I need to use as little power as possible per battery). I totally recommend it!Byggeerfaring: Avanceret LEGO byggerVar dette nyttigt?55

If the light on your battery box has gone off, it sounds like that's the issue - not the motor. You'll want to put fresh batteries into the box, making sure they're all in the correct direction. We also recommend you use regular batteries, not rechargeable. If new batteries don't get your motors running, then our Customer Service team would be happy to help with some more troubleshooting.
