Payment Methods

You can pay by credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, PayPal or invoice.

Credit and Debit Card

We accept American Express, MasterCard and Visa for payment. Your credit card will not be charged until your order is shipped. You can shop with confidence from LEGO.com, knowing that transactions are protected by the highest level of security via SSL encryption.

We’ll authorise your credit card at the time of your order. As part of this authorisation process, your bank will place a hold on your account for the purchase amount of your order.

PayPal

We accept payment by PayPal. If you select PayPal as your payment method, you’ll be taken to the PayPal website to log in to your account. You’ll then be returned to LEGO.com to complete the checkout process.

If you’d like the option to pay for your order after 30 days, you can select ‘Payment after 30 days’ on the PayPal website.

Our payment solution is based on the SSL standard, which means that your information submitted in connection with the payment transaction is protected by encryption.

Invoice

We accept payment by invoice in Germany and the Netherlands. However, we reserve the right to request pre-payment or credit card payment on any order.

If you choose invoicing, your billing and shipping country has to be either Germany or the Netherlands. You have to transfer full payment for your order within 18 days after receipt of the goods and invoice. If payment does not take place within this period, you will be in breach of contract for delay of payment and we shall be entitled to claim interest for delay amounting to 5 percentage points above the Basic Interest Rate. The items you’ve ordered will still legally belong to us until we’ve received full payment for them. We send a maximum of 3 reminders to pay your invoice before the debt is placed for collection.

Your order and invoice should arrive within 5 business days of each other (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays). Please let us know if you experience a delay in the receipt of either your order or your invoice. You can find our contact details, including a free phone number for all countries where LEGO Shop delivers, on LEGO.com/service. Please feel free to keep your invoice as an additional record of your purchase.

If paying by invoice, payment in cash is not accepted and you won’t be able to use a LEGO gift card or VIP points. We reserve the right to request payment by credit card or pre-payment on any order. Title to all products shall not pass before we have received full payment. We do not take responsibility for any additional charges that banks might apply on international transactions.

Apple Pay

We accept payment by Apple Pay on your Mac or Apple device. After making sure your order details are correct, choose Apple Pay as your payment method and complete your order with touch ID or by entering your passcode.

Express Checkout

PayPal and Apple Pay customers will see an option for express checkout when they’re finalizing their order. Before finishing up, just make sure the correct billing and shipping address appear in your PayPal or Apple Pay account as that’s the info we’ll use to process your order.

Paying by link

If you’re on the phone with one of our LEGO experts, you may be asked to pay for an order by clicking on a secure link that we send to you by email. The link will take you to a secure payment page, so you can enter your card details knowing that the transaction is protected by the highest level of security via SSL encryption. The link is only valid for 24 hours, so be sure to click and pay before it expires to place your order.

We’ll authorize your credit card once you make the payment. As part of this authorization process, your bank will place a hold on your account for the order amount. The hold will be removed after a certain number of days that’s decided by your banking institution. Check with your bank for further details.
